Meet Dr.Thomas Hidalgo (Denham Springs, LA)

Dr. Thomas Hidalgo is a Louisiana-licensed optometrist dedicated to providing friendly, personalized eye care to patients of all ages at Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic.

Dr. Hidalgo earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana State University in 2022 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 2026. He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and licensed to practice optometry in Louisiana.

Having worn glasses and contact lenses throughout his childhood, Dr. Hidalgo developed an early appreciation for the difference clear vision can make. While attending LSU, he had the opportunity to shadow his optometrist and discovered that the profession was the perfect fit for him.

What Dr. Hidalgo enjoys most about being an optometrist is meeting new people and helping them see more clearly. He strives to ensure patients of every age feel comfortable, welcomed, and confident in their eye care.

Outside the office, Dr. Hidalgo enjoys fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, and attending LSU games.

Dr. Hidalgo speaks English and is accepting new patients for in-person appointments at the Denham Springs and Amite locations.
